The Epic Doubleheader
I didn’t plan on the Andy Murray/Novak Djokovic going an epic five sets, but still making it to Mets/Nationals after for a few innings is pretty awesome. For those wondering, Murray beat Djokovic 7-6 (12-10), 7-5, 2-6, 3-6, 6-2 to become the first British man in 76 years to win a tennis major. Over at Citi Field, Gio Gonzalez became the first 19-game winner in the Majors this season as the Nationals beat the Mets 5-1.
